Cutie hearts and Bill boards.
Anyway, the ceremony was beautiful, and I loved her dress. :3 I also got to see my... cousin? Second cousin? Whatever. Her name is Michelle, and it was good to see her again. The alternative would have been having NO ONE my age to talk to. Or even remotely my age. Or my sisters' ages. Honestly, my family is made up of old people, the marrying-age type, and a few stray toddlers. It's a little bit depressing.
Not that I don't love them. Just saying.
On this trip, I drew a few piccies, because I had a bit of down time. Actually, a LOT of down time. One is kinda cute, and the other is just me being... well. I'm sure there is a good adjective somewhere for what I'm being, but I'll leave it up to you to find it. Enjoy.
Also! I saw the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie over the weekend. It was adorable! I want the soundtrack now. :3 I loved it. The plotline was pretty predictable, but in this case that didn't make the movie any less entertaining. After all, the movie was made for kids, basically. They don't have to dig too deep.
And Simon is just adorable. What more do you need, right?
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you~
That is all! Tata!

Stained Glass
In other news, I went to a concert last night! I was stunned to hear that Athlete and Switchfoot would be coming to a small town like ours, but did you hear me complaining? No.
It was amazing! Athlete is a British band, if you didn't know, and yes, he did have an accent. They seemed amazed that we thought it was amazing they were from England, but hey! I've lived in America ALL my life, just like MOST Americans. In fact, I have never even left the country, also like MOST Americans. Of course we're going to be interested in them! And I resent the accusation made by him that all Americans are stereotypical. XP The songs they played were cool, though I had trouble hearing the words clearly. At a concert, though, that's pretty much par for the course. Also, their drummer, Steve, couldn't go on tour with them, so they had Computer Steve to keep time with them! He was a mac laptop, and despite my usual hatred for Apples, ya gotta love Computer Steve. :D Everyone else loved him, too.
After they played for about forty-five minutes, Switchfoot came on, and the mosh pit about doubled. Yeah, Arian, my sister and I were included in both mosh pits. :D And we did some jumping and air-punching and head bobbing, mostly just to be ironic. Not to say we didn't enjoy the show! It was a blast. I don't like to compare, but I definitely enjoyed Switchfoot more than Athlete, and not just because I could sing along with Switchfoot. They played longer than Athlete, and and a pretty sweet light show. At one point, Jon Foreman got down from the stage, and walked through the crowd. X3 Not to fan-girl on you all, but he came within about five feet of me, and it was pretty spaz-attack-inducing.
Another funny thing? We were standing next to some guys who liked to wave their shoes in the air instead of just their hands, or a cellphone or lighter. At one point, Jon noticed and said something along the lines, "What? Why are you guys waving your shoes in the air? That's awesome!" From then on, we referred to them as the Shoe Guys. Friendly group! At one point we all were swaying to the music together.
All in all, pretty awesome-sause show. I got a t-shirt, which I hope will fit. Am I the only one who has noticed that t-shirst run seriously small nowadays? Their XL looked like a medium. Insanity!
Well, since the concert all I've done is homework. XP I won't bore you with the sordid details, because I know no one cares. I also won't say how much I am NOT liking the thought of school tomorrow. I know you all are feeling the same way.

Coming to you soon, on Deviant...
I finished A Separate Piece. I'm sure you've heard this all before, but I called that book. I totally did. The likeable character suffered, suffered some more, and died. A really stupid and meaningless death, I would like to add. Who likes reading about that kind of stuff? If I wanted to be depressed, I would turn on the evening news. -.-
But enough whining! I now need the opinion of my loyal (and small) viewer-age. In the comic, what do you think should happen next? I know you children love it when I suprise you with my wit and plot twists, but I am not sure how to continue from this point on. I could figure something out, I s'pose, but that means you would get the comic later. :D
The one rule? Awrthyr cannot die.
And don't maim him too horribly.

The GOOD rope.

I worked on this comic several nights in the last week, and while I hate drawing a project out like that, it does seem to be a more efficient way of getting comics up. Sigh. So I think I'll try that process from now on, just to see if I get more drawing done.
More MAP testing next week! Oh, joy of joys. And a super-duper evil History Kecz test of ultimate DOOM and SUFFERING. T.T I still have a chapter to read. Then again, what else is new?
I have a new hypothesis! If the book is a Great American Novel, then it does not have a happy ending. Ever. It's against the rules. If a likable character doesn't die or suffer greatly, or if the main character isn't a bitter, superior jerk, it just isn't a Great American Novel. It would be against the rules.
So, yeah. If you couldn't tell, I am about half way through A Seperate Peace. It's great. I'm enjoying it. Really.
Curse my Comm. Arts class...
Enjoy the comic! :3

Hello, Tuesday
So, everyone has heard of MAP testing, right? That big ol' required test in Missouri for anyone a part of the public school system? Yeah. IT'S DUMB. The type of test where they give you two hours to do about forty minutes of work. On the bright side, I did a lot of recreational reading! Maybe that was the school's goal after all. "Make rereading a book they've read five times more appealing!" - if that was their goal, you get an A+, school board. Congrats.
Poison Study was amazing- a very good read. I don't know if I should be anticipating or dreading reading the next two books, but I feel that way about many series, especially when the opinions of my friends on Magic Study and Fire Study are so contradictory. -.-
Also on my reading list, is Three to Get Deadly, by Janet Evonavich (along with the rest of her ridiculously long series), The More I See You, by Lynn Kurland, and A Seperate Peace, by John Knowles. Geez, what a spread. Anyone who knows books won't be able to decide if I'm a murder-mystery junkie, hopeless romantic, or a fan of the old classics.
That is all.
